Applications

Bondioli & Pavesi electronic control units (ECUs) allow the implementation of multiple functions and are designed specifically for use with hydraulic systems in mobile and fixed applications, from simple, to highly demanding computing power systems  through the management of fully customized ones.

Key Features

Functional safety requirements are as specified in ISO 13849 and ISO 25119 standards for “Safety Relevant”.
Inputs and outputs are configurable (multifunction I/O). Control units can interconnect and interact with existing vehicle systems (by way of a CAN network, for example). The functionalities of all models include diagnostics — capable for example of detecting safety issues, breaks in electrical connections, short circuits and open circuits — also monitoring of outputs and alarm functions. Output stages provide current feedback and are configurable as ON/OFF or PWM. The activation of each output is controlled by dual enable logic.
B&P has developed specific software with a highly intuitive interface (PC ECUTuner) for running complete diagnostics on the systemand configuring parameters during calibration. Other functions obtainable in conjunction with additional components include remote diagnostics and fleet management.
Enclosures are rated IP67.
